Pay Range: $80/hr - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, cash flow projections, and earned value metrics.
- Track drilling, equipment, contractor, and material costs.
- Analyze budget and schedule variances and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress measurement activities.
- Develop and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and project performance analysis.
- Coordinate with project managers to integrate cost and schedule information for management reporting.
- Support change management and evaluate cost impacts of scope changes.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Maintain cost control systems and project financial records.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of cost control and project controls experience in drilling, oil & gas, geothermal, mining, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting project management functions, scheduling, and progress reporting.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, project scheduling tools, cost management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and project controls is required.
