Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced **Snowflake Data Engineer** with 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Airflow, AWS, and modern data modelling techniques**.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using **Snowflake**.
- Develop complex SQL queries and perform **performance tuning and optimization**.
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL workflows using **dbt and Apache Airflow**.
- Implement AWS-based data solutions using **S3, Glue, and Lambda**.
- Design data models using **Dimensional Modeling and Data Vault** methodologies.
- Develop and manage **Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks** for automated and incremental data processing.
- Implement CI/CD practices for data engineering and deployment workflows.
- Use **Terraform** for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and security across data platforms.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years** of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with **Snowflake**.
- Advanced **SQL** skills and query performance tuning.
- Experience with **dbt** and **Apache Airflow**.
- Strong AWS experience with **S3, Glue, and Lambda**.
- Expertise in **Dimensional Data Modeling and/or Data Vault**.
- Hands-on experience with **Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks**.
- Experience with **CI/CD** pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with **Terraform**.
- Strong understanding of **Data Warehousing concepts and architecture**.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
