Job Overview:
Amazon is looking for an Industrial Engineering Analytics Engineer with experience in manufacturing operations, capacity planning, process optimization, and data analytics. The candidate will support factory operations by developing models, analyzing production performance, and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain capacity, labor, and cost models.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance using OEE, cycle time, yield, and throughput metrics.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve production flow.
  • Support factory planning, material flow, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights.
  • Perform business case analysis including ROI, IRR, and NPV calculations.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams.
  • Support automation, analytics, and AI-driven improvement projects.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Analytics, or Operations Analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Capacity Planning, Labor Modeling, and Process Improvement.
  • Experience with OEE, Yield Analysis, Material Flow, and Manufacturing Metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Simio.
  • Knowledge of PFEP, COGS Modeling, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience with ROI, IRR, NPV, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in manufacturing.

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
