Sr. Network Engineer

Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Modesto, CA (Onsite)

Key Skills: 

• Plant / manufacturing network experience ( Highly desired)

• Cisco + Aruba + firewall + VLAN segmentation

• Any exposure to SCADA / ICS / OT environments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN)

• Deploy and manage network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems

• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark

• Manage IP addressing, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF)

• Administer network access control solutions (e.g., Aruba ClearPass)

• Implement and enforce network security policies, firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and access controls

• Support hybrid cloud networking (Azure/AWS), VPN gateways, and site-to-site connectivity

• Maintain core network services including DNS, DHCP, and NTP

• Design and support high availability and redundancy solutions (LACP, STP, policy-based forwarding)

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams

• Support IT and Operational Technology (OT) network integration and segmentation
