JD Edwards CNC / Senior CNC Consultant (100% Remote)

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards CNC / Senior CNC Consultant to support installation, upgrades, migrations, and environment management for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tools Releases, ESUs, platform migrations, and multi-environment architecture management. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to independently lead complex CNC initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as JD Edwards CNC Consultant
• Hands-on experience with EnterpriseOne installations and configuration
• Proven experience leading Tools Release upgrades
• Experience with Code Current initiatives
• Strong knowledge of multi-environment architecture (DV, PY, PD)
• Experience with OS, database, and cloud migrations
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Configuration

• Perform fresh installations of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (Full Pack, Tools, ESUs)
• Install and configure:
  • Enterprise Server
  • HTML/Web Server
  • AIS Server
  • Orchestrator
  • BSSV
• Configure OCM mappings, security settings, kernel tuning, and package builds
• Manage deployment across multi-environment architecture (DV, PY, PD)

Upgrade & Tools Release Management

• Lead EnterpriseOne application upgrades (e.g., 9.1 to 9.2)
• Execute Tools Release (TR) upgrades
• Apply ESUs, ASUs, and SARs
• Implement and maintain Code Current strategy
• Perform impact analysis and coordinate retrofits

Migration & Platform Transitions

• Execute OS migrations (Linux/Windows)
• Manage database migrations (Oracle to Oracle, AS400 to SQL platform transitions)
• Support cloud migrations (On-Prem to OCI / AWS / Azure)
• Perform environment cloning and manage data refresh strategies

Code Current & Environment Maintenance

• Maintain environments on latest supported Tools Release
• Apply ESUs and manage bug fix retrofits
• Coordinate with development teams for custom object impact analysis
• Conduct regression validation and post-deployment verification
