Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and conducting land surveying activities, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field crews to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
  • Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to support project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey activities.

Qualifications:
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $120K - $155K/yr
