OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Business Applications leads the team responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing NOVEC s enterprise applications, including NISC platforms such as Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), SmartHub, and MDMS/OMS. The role ensures data integrity, continuous process improvement, automation, AI-enabled efficiencies, and innovation aligned with NOVEC s operational goals.

- Lead, mentor, and manage Business Applications Analysts and Senior Analysts.
- Oversee support, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of NISC applications including CC&B, SmartHub, MDMS/OMS, and related workflows.
- Drive continuous process improvement to streamline operations and reduce manual work.
- Identify, develop, and implement automation and AI/ML use cases to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure end-to-end data integrity across NISC and integrated systems.
- Plan and coordinate testing, QA, and release management for NISC upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex user/system/process issues.
- Lead business process reviews and develop future-state process and technology recommendations.
- Manage vendor relationships including NISC, ensuring strong collaboration and effective support.
- Champion user readiness, training, documentation, and change management for new features or process changes.
- Prepare and maintain performance, stability, and operational reporting for leadership.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- PMI-PBA, or other Business Analysis Certification highly preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including leadership in business applications, IT, or operations.
- Experience with NISC applications is strongly preferred, including proficiency with NISC platforms (CC&B, SmartHub, MDMS/OMS) and system integrations.
- Experience with automation, AI implementation, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement.
- Experience leading system upgrades, integrations, QA/testing, and release/change management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and process mapping tools.
