Job Description: Systems Integration Lead

Position Summary

The Systems Integration Lead is responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing the integration of enterprise applications and systems to ensure seamless data exchange and business process continuity. This role provides technical leadership, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of system integration solutions.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to define integration strategies and architectures.
  • Develop and support integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and messaging platforms.
  • Coordinate integration activities across multiple applications, vendors, and project teams.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Ensure integration solutions comply with security, governance, and organizational standards.
  • Review technical designs and provide guidance on integration best practices.
  • Support testing activities, including integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver successful integration projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, REST/SOAP web services, middleware, and messaging systems.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms or integration tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data transformation, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Azure Integration Services, or similar.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven integration.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control tools.
  • Relevant integration or cloud certifications are an advantage.
