Position Title: Security Specialist Sr
Position Location: Hybrid or remote
Manager would STRONGLY prefer a Pittsburgh based candidate, but will be open to looking at other options for remote or hybrid work
Position Duration: 1 year
Roles/Responsibilities: As a Technology Engineer, you will be a part of Enterprise technology & Security organization. This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • DLP knowledge across all functions of IT, End Point, and data at rest and in motion. • In-depth Linux and Windows (must have) server-based platform knowledge for deployment, integration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of application infrastructure. • Experience with databases queries (SQL/Oracle/Teradata/Hadoop), software development (Java and C), and API development within custom and vendor provided (COTS) application. • Must have working knowledge of networking and firewall technologies. • Support production systems, as required, through performance optimization, problem resolution, vulnerability and platform compliance, and timely issue communications within the cyber security. • Must be comfortable speaking to internal customers and to clearly articulate technologies to other engineers. • Maintain, utilize, and modify applications’ operational runbooks and perform semi-annual business continuity failover activities for critical applications within the cyber organization. • Occasional after hours support for product incidences, production implementations and escalations. • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc) and containerization. • Programming/Scripting experience with .NET, PowerShell, vbscript. • Experience with Diagnostic Software: WireShark, Windows Command-line, UNIX/Linux Command-line, Process Explorer and other Security systems and applications vendors including Open Source.
