About the role

We are hiring two intermediate-level Server Administrators to support a public-sector client's IT environment. You'll maintain and manage scalable IT systems, resolve escalated help desk issues, and drive group policy and software deployment work. This is a hands-on role for someone who's strong at diagnosing complex network, server, and endpoint problems in an enterprise setting.

What you'll do

  • Maintain, manage, and troubleshoot scalable IT systems and architectures aligned to business needs
  • Provide technical support for escalated help desk issues spanning network, server, and endpoint problems
  • Implement group policies and software deployments for reliable, efficient system management
  • Manage Windows updates and endpoint configurations across an enterprise environment
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and dev/ops teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Document processes and run periodic system reviews to ensure adherence to standards
  • Advise on technical aspects of open work requests alongside the project lead

Must-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Server/Systems Administrator maintaining scalable IT systems
  • Strong expertise in endpoint management, group policy configuration, software pushouts, and Windows update management
  • 3+ years supporting escalated help desk issues (network, server, endpoint)
  • 5+ years troubleshooting complex IT issues
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable in a fast-paced, team environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
  • Project management or technical leadership experience
