QA Automation/SDET Lead-Hybrid-Full Time

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer / Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across web and mobile applications. The role involves creating robust automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, managing regression suites, and collaborating closely with development and business teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG, and Page Object Model (POM)

• Define automation strategy, test approach, and execution plans for projects

• Develop and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across applications

• Validate data using SQL queries on relational databases such as SQL Server

• Integrate automated test execution with Azure DevOps / TFS pipelines

• Analyze test results and generate detailed test execution and quality reports

• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or equivalent tools

• Work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to enable early defect detection (shift-left testing)

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites (manual and automated)

• Prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Communicate testing status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders clearly

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts with hands-on Java development experience

• Extensive experience with Selenium Automation Frameworks

• Hands-on experience using TestNG with POM design pattern

• Solid experience in Manual and Automation Testing

• Experience with SpecFlow

• Proficiency in SQL and database validation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)

• Exposure to Mobile Application Testing (Android / iOS)

Education & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA / application testing or development

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / MCA) from a recognized institution

• Background in Computer Science or related field preferred
