This role supports a large-scale initiative to standardize and modernize business applications across multiple independent business units operating in
B2C, B2B, and marketplace (B2B2C) sales channels. The Business Systems Analyst will be a core member of the project team, responsible for defining business requirements, partnering with business leadership to establish future-state operating models, supporting application selection, and contributing to the implementation of a new enterprise solution stack.
This position offers exposure to complex, cross-functional initiatives and plays a key role in shaping enterprise business operations and technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements
- Research and evaluate user needs, costs, and benefits to support demand management documentation
- Analyze business needs to identify new processes and process improvement opportunities
- Document current-state business processes and models to identify requirements and gaps
- Analyze system factors including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware, and software needs
- Assess organizational ("soft") system factors such as roles, responsibilities, policies, and culture
- Evaluate the organizational impact of proposed software and process changes
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather and define requirements
- Assist in the development of business case documentation
- Ensure alignment with architectural standards and usability best practices
- Configure and maintain software and related technologies across environments
- Develop configuration workbooks and obtain approval from product managers and business owners
- Plan and execute configuration tasks within established timelines
- Define, develop, and validate user, unit, and functional test cases
- Support system demonstrations and participate in training delivery and content review
- Provide third-level production support, troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
- Participate in team meetings and communicate risks, issues, and concerns to leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- (or equivalent professional experience)
- Experience supporting the full lifecycle of web-based applications, from requirements and configuration through testing, release, and production support
- Typically 2-6 years of relevant business or systems analysis experience
- Business analysis experience may substitute for formal education
- 5+ years of business or systems analysis experience preferred

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with application integration methods, including data mapping concepts
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on web-based solutions
- Working knowledge of environments, releases, APIs, and integrations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
- Proven capability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and tools
- Strong listening and facilitation skills
- Effective presenter in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
