Job Description- Operate and manage network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and transmission media.
- Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.
- Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.
- Monitor network capacity and performance.
- Patch network vulnerabilities to safeguard information.
- Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
- Implement and test network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans.
Establish and maintain network security practices. - Analyze network traffic capacity and performance characteristics.
- Develop and validate network security measures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and changes.
Education and Background- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR Software Engineering
