Summary

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Training Lead
Location: Houston, TX (4 days onsite )
Duration: 06+ Months

Role Summary
The SAP S/4HANA Training Lead will own end-to-end training strategy and execution for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role is accountable for ensuring role-based, module-accurate training that enables business readiness and Day-1 operational stability. This is not a generic training role; deep, hands-on SAP functional knowledge is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP S/4HANA training strategy, planning, and execution across impacted business units.
Design role-based, process-driven training aligned to S/4HANA target state.
Partner closely with Functional Leads, OCM, Security, and Business SMEs.
Translate SAP configuration and business processes into effective learning assets.
Oversee development of training materials (ILT, VILT, simulations, job aids).
Ensure training aligns with security roles, personas, and transaction usage.
Manage training readiness, completion metrics, and risk reporting.
Support UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of SAP Training Lead or SAP Functional + Training experience.
Intimate, hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, such as:
FI/CO, PTP/MM, OTC/SD, RTR, EAM/PM, FSM, or related areas.
Proven experience delivering training for ECC to S/4HANA transformations.
Strong understanding of SAP transactions, Fiori apps, and end-to-end processes.
Ability to engage credibly with business SMEs and functional architects.
Strong execution mindset; able to operate in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.

Preferred

Prior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
Experience aligning training with OCM and adoption strategies.
Prosci, SAP Activate, or training certification a plus.
