We are looking for a seasoned Senior VoIP Network Engineer with extensive experience in enterprise voice and telecom environments. This role focuses on designing, securing, and optimizing VoIP infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless communication across networks.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in voice technologies, network protocols, and troubleshooting complex telecom and media-related issues in large-scale environments.
What You’ll Do:
Architect and support enterprise-grade VoIP and telecom systems
Perform deep network traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark
Configure and secure SNMP for monitoring and management
Design and manage network redundancy and failover strategies
Validate and onboard network devices into secure environments
Troubleshoot NAT, routing, switching, and connectivity issues
Implement and manage firewalls, proxies, and security controls
Support unified communication and voice platforms
Monitor and validate voice quality across deployments
Diagnose and resolve voice/media performance issues
Lead service provider transition activities
Ensure network uptime, performance, and compliance standards
Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional engineering teams
Core Requirements:
15+ years of hands-on experience in VoIP and network engineering
Strong expertise in VoIP protocols and voice technologies
Proficiency in Wireshark and packet-level analysis
Experience with SNMP and secure network monitoring
Solid understanding of NAT, routing, and switching
Experience configuring firewalls and proxies
Strong troubleshooting skills for voice and media issues
Knowledge of redundancy, failover, and high availability design
Familiarity with telecom protocols and enterprise communication systems
Experience in secure network device testing and validation
Proven experience handling service provider migrations
