Summary

Title: Supply Chain Process Lead/Architect

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire by the client (No Visa candidates, other work statuses ok)

Need Local resources, hybrid 2-3 days/week onsite, no travel expenses

Excellent Communication skills,

8-10 years Supply Chain process experience as Lead/Architect.

SAP skills is good to have but not a must.

This is for an upcoming Product launch, so need someone that has gone through basic needs of a Product launch and what all is needed and organize the process.

Get requirements from Business, Marketing, etc.

Translate Business requirements into Functional requirements.

Design the process and map it out.

Good knowledge of Physical flow and Virtual flow.

Business Analyst experience is useful.

About the Role

This IT role is at a Medical Devices company to work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to support successful Product launches across the U.S. and global regions. The primary focus is Supply Network enablement and Virtual Invoice flow execution, ensuring products can move from Manufacturing to Distribution while supporting accurate and compliant Financial transactions.

This role will support end-to-end Process design across Supply Chain and Finance touchpoints, with a focus on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, document processes, and support System integration and automation efforts within SAP and related systems. Experience operating in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, and independently drive requirement clarity and stakeholder alignment.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Tax, Finance, Manufacturing, Warehousing) to support alignment on Virtual Invoice flow and related processes
  • Facilitate discussions to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and align on Process decisions
  • Communicate clearly with both Technical and Business stakeholders

Process Discovery & Requirements Documentation

  • Gather, document, and validate Business requirements across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Supply Network processes
  • Document current state and future state Workflows, including upstream and downstream dependencies
  • Identify the Process gaps and work with stakeholders to define practical, executable solutions
  • Maintain clear and organized Documentation for business requirements, process flows, and key decisions
  • Support time-sensitive Commercial Product launches by ensuring that requirements and process design are defined and aligned

Solution Support

  • Work with IT and technical teams to translate Business requirements into Functional inputs for System integration and automation
  • Provide clarification and support to delivery teams as the requirements transition into Build and Implementation phases

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of Supply Chain process experience
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments within IT, Supply Chain, Finance
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Key Attributes

  • Able to independently drive requirement clarity and stakeholder alignment
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where upstream processes may not be fully defined
  • Produces clear, structured documentation that enables efficient handoff to IT delivery teams
  • Effectively bridges business and IT to ensure shared understanding of requirements
  • Helps ensure compliance with regional Tax and Invoicing requirements

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP ERP (any module within Supply Chain domain)
  • Experience as Business Analyst (BA) or similar role
  • Understanding of:
    • Supply Network enablement
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
    • Virtual Invoice flow design
    • Commercial Product launch support
  • Experience supporting System integration and automation initiatives
  • Experience working in Healthcare (Medical Device, Pharma, Biotech) or other regulated industries
  • Experience working across global regions (U.S. and EMEA)
