RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise Windows environment in Jacksonville, FL.
Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who brings both hands-on technical expertise and strategic thinking, with experience designing, building, and optimizing endpoint management solutions in complex environments.
You will play a key role in managing and evolving a modern endpoint ecosystem, including a transition from SCCM to Intune, while supporting over 16,000 devices across the organization.
Duties Include:
* Manage and support a large-scale Windows endpoint environment (Windows 10/11)
* Lead endpoint lifecycle management, including imaging, provisioning, and deployment
* Administer and optimize SCCM and Intune in a co-managed environment
* Drive migration efforts from SCCM to Intune, including policy and application transitions
* Design and implement Group Policy (GPO) and modern device management strategies
* Support software deployment and patch management
* Assist with on-prem to cloud initiatives related to endpoint management
* Participate in server upgrades, system implementations, and data migrations
* Troubleshoot endpoint and infrastructure issues (remote with occasional onsite support as needed)
* Contribute to architecture and solution design for endpoint technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
