The Actimize IFM Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of fraud detection solutions using the NICE Actimize platform. This includes creating custom detection models in AIS (Actimize Intelligence Server), managing alert workflows in ActOne/RCM (Risk Case Manager), and ensuring seamless data integration with core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

•       Solution Development: Design and develop custom Actimize IFM-X modules to detect and prevent financial crimes such as payment fraud and money laundering.

•       AIS Modeling: Create and tune sophisticated detection rules and models using AIS Modeler, including custom plugins and Java blocks.

•       Case Management: Customize the ActOne/RCM user interface, defining alert types, views, dashboards, and complex investigation workflows.

•       Data Integration: Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL/PL-SQL and Kafka to ingest real-time transaction data into the Actimize platform.

•       Upgrades & Maintenance: Manage platform version upgrades, service pack deployments, and troubleshoot performance issues within the Actimize environment.

•       Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts and Fraud Investigators to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical specifications.

•       Technical Skills Required

•       Core Platform: Deep expertise in Actimize IFM-X, AIS (4.x+), and ActOne/RCM (6.x+).

•       Database: Advanced proficiency in Oracle or SQL Server (writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning).

•       Programming: Strong Java/J2EE skills for developing custom RCM plugins and AIS extensions.

•       Infrastructure: Familiarity with Linux (RHEL), Apache Tomcat, and Unix scripting.

•       Messaging: Experience with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka, MQ, or Tibco.

•       Web Services: Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML for system integrations.

•       Experience & Qualifications

•       Experience: Typically 5–8 years of development experience specifically within the NICE Actimize ecosystem.

•       Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial fraud patterns (e.g., ACH, Wire, Credit Card fraud) and AML regulations.

•       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
