Position Summary
We''''re seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who thrives on building long-term client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor. This individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, identifying opportunities to expand services, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
This is not a cold-calling sales role. Instead, you''''ll focus on growing existing accounts by understanding each client''''s business objectives, technology roadmap, and evolving IT needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders and IT decision-makers.
- Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) and strategic account meetings.
- Identify opportunities to expand managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, Microsoft, and professional services offerings.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and service delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate client onboarding following acquisitions or new implementations.
- Develop account growth strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Manage renewals, contract discussions, and service expansions.
- Track account health, customer satisfaction, and retention metrics.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns by partnering with internal leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Stay current on industry trends, cybersecurity developments, Microsoft technologies, cloud solutions, and AI offerings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Account Management, Client Success, or Technology Sales experience.
- Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP), VAR, IT Consulting, or Technology Services organization strongly preferred.
- Proven success growing existing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of managed IT services and technology infrastructure.
- Experience discussing technical solutions with business executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with strong project coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
