Reporting Developer - Seismic

We are seeking an experienced Seismic Developer to design, develop, and maintain automated reporting and presentation solutions using the Seismic platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Seismic development, SQL, Python scripting, and report automation. This role involves building dynamic client-ready PowerPoint and PDF reports by integrating data from relational databases and streamlining reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Seismic reports, templates, and automated presentation solutions.
• Build dynamic PowerPoint (PPT) and PDF reports using Seismic.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and transform data from relational databases.
• Create Python scripts to automate data processing, report generation, and workflow execution.
• Integrate structured data from enterprise databases into Seismic reporting templates.
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize report performance.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineering teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Validate report accuracy through testing and quality assurance.
• Document technical designs, reporting standards, and development processes.
• Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development or reporting experience.
• Hands-on experience with the Seismic platform.
• Strong SQL programming and relational database experience.
• Experience generating dynamic PowerPoint and PDF reports programmatically.
• Strong Python scripting skills for automation and reporting.
• Experience with reporting automation and workflow optimization.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
