About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Lead with extensive hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving DevOps transformations, optimizing deployments, and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Strategy & Implementation:
  • Lead the design and implementation of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure strategies across multiple projects.
  • Develop and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-code (IaC), continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery/deployment (CD), and configuration management.
  • Drive automation in build, release, and deployment processes to achieve zero-downtime deployments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.
  • Implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• CI/CD & Automation:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning into pipelines.
• Monitoring & Logging:
  • Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in DevOps best practices.
  • Define and enforce security and compliance standards across environments.
• Incident Management & Support:
  • Implement robust incident response and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met for uptime, deployment frequency, and system performance.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on expertise in multiple services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, AKS, GKE)
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, CloudWatch
• Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell
• Version Control & Collaboration: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab
• Security & Compliance: IAM, Secrets Management, Vulnerability Scanning, Security Best Practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in implementing DevOps practices in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
