This position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence four days per week (Monday-Thursday) in Charlotte, NC, and is offered as a W2 opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with enterprise application leaders and Senior stakeholders to define scope, timelines, budgets, and success criteria
  • Drive project planning, prioritization, execution, and governance in alignment with established PMO standards
  • Ensure adherence to Goal Deployment Process (GDP) and Project Delivery Process (PDP)
  • Manage day-to-day project execution across all phases, including:
    • Accelerated Business Readiness (ABR)
    • Testing cycles and defect resolution
    • Deployment and post-implementation stabilization
  • Coordinate dependencies across:
    • Legacy systems and integrations
    • New technology deployments
    • Related enterprise and SBU initiatives
  • Own project governance activities including:
    • Risk and issue management
    • Resource forecasting and alignment
    • Status reporting and milestone tracking
    • Business readiness and benefit realization
  • Facilitate Senior-level meetings, drive alignment, and resolve conflicts quickly
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately to sponsors and the PMO
  • Support internal audit readiness and compliance activities
  • Manage change initiatives and interventions to ensure delivery outcomes are met

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Strong experience delivering projects within IT Service Operations or enterprise application environments
  • Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise deployments
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
  • Hands-on Change Management experience
  • Familiarity with PMO governance frameworks, including GDP, PDP, or similar methodologies
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience supporting major IT or business transformation programs
  • Exposure to regulatory, audit, or risk-managed environments
  • Experience coordinating across multiple programs or workstreams

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days on-site (Mon-Thurs)
  • Collaborative, enterprise IT environment
  • Fast-paced organization undergoing transformation and modernization

Business Need

This role is being added to provide additional delivery bandwidth as the organization executes large-scale application initiatives and IT transformation efforts.

What Success Looks Like
