As an Aerospace Engineering Intern, you will:

Work with the latest, cutting edge technology
Provide creative solutions to complex problems
Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals

Responsibilities

A week in the life of an Aerospace Engineering Intern:

Contribute as a member of an advanced technical team focused on current challenges within the Department of War
Use modern digital engineering tools to support assessments and evaluations of DoW programs
Support performance of aerospace modeling and simulation as part our engagements with key programs
Contribute as part of the DTE&A team to conducting aerospace system performance assessments, modeling of system dynamics and aerodynamics, subsystem and payload performance analysis, and documenting analytical outputs.
Assist with the following:
- Evaluation of designs, developments, protoypes, systems of systems, and related command and control systems.
- Develop, integrate, and validate models of aerospace systems and subsystems; assess systems performance in relation to mission models and requirements
- Evaluation of test plans and execution
May have the chance to work with various programming languages (C/C++, R, Python, etc), MATLAB, CAMEO, AFSIM and similar systems

Qualifications

High School diploma and 2 years of college or related work experience

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
