Job#: 3022448 Job Description: QBE is looking for a Program Manager to drive delivery of the North America Reinsurance Modernization Program, coordinating across global teams and multiple technical and business workstreams. This role requires strong communication, cross-regional alignment, and the ability to manage complex enterprise initiatives from planning through execution.
Project ScopeThe Program Manager will oversee delivery of several major workstreams, including:
- Migration of reinsurance contracts and historical data from Prosume and DWH into Duck Creek
- Delivery of functional enhancements and adoption of a new Duck Creek Reinsurance version
- Updates to global reinsurance subsystems to support NAO data
- Integrations with GL, earnings engine, and payment processing
- Business process redesign and readiness
- Reporting modernization
- Integration of gross policy and loss data
- Technical services and infrastructure coordination
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and overall program health
- Deliver clear communication to team members and senior stakeholders
- Support budget creation, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis (no direct budget ownership)
Partner closely with workstream leads across:
- Global platforms
- Data migration
- Gross data integration
- Technical services & infrastructure
- Business process & readiness
- Duck Creek Reinsurance system
- Reporting
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure appropriate resources are engaged for each workstream
- Facilitate communication across North America, London, and India
- Support knowledge sharing across a newer BAU North America team
- Manage vendor relationships
- Escalate issues to leadership when needed
Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical & Professional- Proven experience delivering large, complex programs (business + IT)
- Strong Agile delivery experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA (highly beneficial)
- Strong vendor management experience
Industry Knowledge- Insurance industry experience required
- Reinsurance experience strongly preferred
System Knowledge- Duck Creek Reinsurance experience preferred
Soft Skills- Excellent stakeholder management across Business, IT, and global teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead business-driven initiatives with clarity and confidence
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
