Senior UX/UI Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and application platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering high-quality, scalable design solutions in a collaborative environment.

Summary:
This role combines user research, interaction design, and visual design to produce experiences that are both functional and visually polished. The Senior UX/UI Designer works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. A strong emphasis is placed on usability, accessibility, and thoughtful, data-informed design.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with stakeholders to shape product vision, define priorities, and deliver phased design solutions
* Own the end-to-end design process from discovery and concept development through launch and iteration
* Design user-centered experiences for web and application products
* Apply usability testing methods and user-centered design best practices within Agile environments
* Contribute to and maintain design systems, UI standards, and reusable components
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and accurately implemented
* Translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions
* Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams to meet quality, performance, and delivery goals
* Apply strong visual design principles including typography, color, spacing, and layout
* Create and maintain documentation for design patterns, guidelines, and standards
* Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and emerging best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience
* 8+ years of experience in product design or related fields
* Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process and UI design skills
* Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design
* Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience conducting user research and usability testing
* Experience designing enterprise or data-heavy applications
* Experience designing data visualizations, dashboards, and analytics-driven interfaces
* Experience working with design systems and component libraries
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks (plus, not required)
* Familiarity with data visualization libraries (plus, not required)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
