Position Overview
Production Support Engineer
Requirements:
- Serve as the first-level triage for UMV (Unified Member View), ensuring high availability, rapid incident response, and strong customer service.
- Responsibilities include supporting UMV servers/UI and MongoDB collections, managing and troubleshooting Control-M jobs (reruns/holds/escalations), executing DMRs via scripting, and performing downstream re-triggers via Amisys updates or Kafka event republish.
- The ideal candidate is responsive, collaborative, customer-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
Skills
- Production support triage & incident handling (ticketing via ServiceNow)
- UMV application troubleshooting across UMV UI and backend components
- Data investigation & analysis in MongoDB (member data collections; ingestion/staging/downstream context)
- Batch/job operations in Control‑M (monitor, rerun, hold jobs; escalate when reruns fail)
- DMR execution via scripting (write/run scripts to complete Data Manipulation Requests)
- Downstream re-triggers: Kafka event republish + Amisys member data update patterns (via DMR when applicable)
- Monitoring/observability using Splunk and Dynatrace
- Platform/runtime exposure with Rancher and integration messaging via Tibco EMS
- Work management & documentation using JIRA and Confluence
Tools/Platforms: Control‑M, MongoDB, UMV UI, Kafka, ServiceNow, Splunk, Dynatrace, Rancher, JIRA, Confluence, Tibco EMS, and Amisys (as applicable to re-triggers/DMRs).
