Hiring: Lead ETL Developer

Work Model: 4 days onsite per week

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead ETL Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, Python/PySpark, and ETL tools, along with technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines.
Build and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue, Snowflake, Python/PySpark, and IBM DataStage.
Develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance data integration solutions.
Implement data validation, unit testing, and regression testing.
Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and support production operations.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and engineering teams.
Drive coding standards, CI/CD practices, and SDLC best practices.
Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
Support cloud migration, Snowflake optimization, and data platform modernization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional relevant experience.
5+ years of ETL/Data Engineering experience in enterprise data warehouse environments.
5+ years of SQL and database development experience.
5+ years of hands-on Python/PySpark and ETL tool experience.
3+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms.
Experience leading development teams or serving as a technical lead.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling.
Experience with AWS services and Snowflake architecture optimization.
Knowledge of pipeline monitoring, observability, and automated testing.
Experience with data architecture modernization and migration roadmaps.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and financial services regulations.
AWS certifications and banking/financial services experience are a plus.
