Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract to hire opportunity. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will leverage Azure AI services and modern AI technologies to automate business processes, enhance productivity, and drive innovation. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio to enhance productivity and automate business processes
- Improve customer experiences and drive innovation across the organization
- Utilize expertise in AI/ML, prompt engineering, API integration, data analytics, and cloud technologies
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, cloud engineering, or automation
- 2+ years of experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or Microsoft Copilot technologies
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions in complex environments
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Services, and Azure AI Studio
- Proficiency in Prompt Engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs, AI Integrations, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, DevOps Practices, and Azure Cloud Services
- Understanding of Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama), NLP, Vector Databases, and Embeddings
- Must be able to work on a contract to hire basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Desired skills: - Master's degree
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized deployments
- Experience implementing AI solutions in highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of AI security, model risk management, and governance frameworks
- Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
