Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr Systems Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. Analyze internal and external requirements. Select the right brake product that fits customer needs. Translate customer requirements into high level design, this includes maintaining the system and part of the software architecture for the customer project. Create system level tests to validate customer requirements. Act as technical interface for conventional and start-up customers. Support the functional safety activity in the customer project. Support the FMEA process for the customer project. Support projects during acquisitions phase. Act as reviewer for derived requirements and design proposals. Serve as a System Architect Project and manage the North American chassis controls active safety projects with focus on brake system and vehicle motion features. Work with the engineering development team globally. Act as the technical interface and first point of contact with the customer on requirements. Involve in the management of customer requirements (incl. planning of features). Collect and analyze basic system requirements and constraints. Derive system requirements, analyze the system requirements, and coordinate the technical development. Design system architecture for customer requirements for ESP-iBooster/IPB/DPB-ESP system OEMs LUCID and SLATE. Help customers define system interfaces for vehicle communication and convert system requirements into software requirements. Prepare Requirement Specifications and Functional Designs for new functions and lead the software team in requirement engineering, design, coding, and testing. Collaborate with teams in different locations such as Mexico, India, and Germany for software delivery, and lead debugging efforts for issues reported by OEMs. Define OEM network signals for various functions supported by the brake system and act as a bridge between the OEM and the software team for all technical topics. Analyze customer and application team traces to handle system queries and guide the diagnostics team in managing various system states, coordinating with the test team for HIL tests. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Architect or occupation involving the development of algorithms for the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Negotiating with OEM customers; (2) Developing algorithms for brake system controllers (ABS, VDC, TCS or VAFs); (3) Requirement engineering using Doors; (4) Developing high integrity safety critical automotive system and software; and (5) Automotive techniques, vehicle dynamics and control theory.
