Software Testing Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Testing Analyst to join the team of our exceptional client. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software applications through a combination of automated testing, API validation, database testing, and quality engineering best practices.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong Quality Engineer who understands software development concepts, can write and maintain automated tests, and enjoys working closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires strong automation expertise, hands-on API testing experience, and the ability to analyze and validate data across multiple systems.

What will your day look like?

As a Software Testing Analyst, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance

• Design and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications and APIs

• Perform manual and automated testing activities across multiple environments

• Execute smoke, functional, integration, application, and regression testing prior to production releases

• Review and evaluate test coverage to ensure thorough validation of business requirements and system functionality

• Validate application behavior through both frontend and backend testing approaches

• Perform API testing using SOAP and REST services

• Create and execute database validation queries to verify data integrity and business logic

• Document, track, and manage defects through resolution and retesting

• Define, monitor, and report quality metrics, test results, and defect trends

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify root causes and drive issue resolution

• Develop and promote testing standards, quality processes, and best practices

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, testing efficiency, and automation maturity

• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on testing methodologies and quality assurance practices

You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong quality assurance and software testing experience

• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks

• Strong experience testing REST and SOAP APIs

• Experience using API testing tools and HTTP clients

• Strong SQL skills, including:

• SELECT statements
• INSERT statements
• UPDATE statements
• DELETE statements
• Joins and data validation queries

• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and system testing

• Experience tracking and managing defects throughout the software development lifecycle

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments

• Experience with DICOM technology
