We have Immediate opening for a Fixed Income Production Support consultant with strong hands-on experience to support a long-term engagement with our client. Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Title: Fixed Income Production Support consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) & Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
Interview: Teams then face to face final round
Duration: 12 months +
Exp Level: 8 yrs+

Rate: $50hr. W2 All Inc (Max rate)

Description:

Fixed Income Production Support roles involve managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting live trading applications to ensure stability for front-office traders and sales teams.

Key responsibilities include incident management, SQL/Python scripting for root cause analysis, and FIX protocol connectivity support.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Incident Management: Responding rapidly to production outages and managing system issues to minimize trading downtime.
• Technical Support: Troubleshooting application queries and resolving connectivity issues, often using Python and SQL.
• Monitoring & Automation: Implementing monitoring tools and creating dashboards to maintain system health and automate manual processes.
• Collaboration: Acting as the first line of defense, interfacing directly with traders, developers, and risk management teams.
• System Documentation: Creating documentation for support processes, bug tracking, and technology upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Experience with FIX protocol, SQL, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products (Rates, Credit, Mortgage-Backed Securities).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under high-pressure scenarios
