Senior OpenShift Architect

Indotronix is seeking a Senior OpenShift Architectin Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client locations with our direct client

Position Title: Senior OpenShift Architect

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, and Phoenix, AZ

Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remote

Acceptable time zone(s): Flexible - CT/EST

Days of the week: Mon - Fri 40 hours

Working Hours (Flexible): 8 am- 5 pm core hours

OT: Minimal (Available to perform weekend shift if needed.)

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Open to all backgrounds, but banking/financial is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands on engineering for OCP(Openshift Container Platform)

Heavily involved on the OCP

- Administrative work

- Engineering work

- Architectural type work

Cross training and exposed to many different areas

Communicate with customers, third-party vendors and Reh Hat's associates.

Troubleshooting skills and passion for problem solving and investigation.

Level 3:

4-6 Years

Must Have Technical Skills:

-Red Hat OpenShift or other K8s platforms

-Red Hat Linux operating systems

-Understanding of networking and storage architectures for OpenShift / K8s.

-Experience working with hosted applications or large-scale application deployments

-Good understanding of Linux tools

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

-Cloud experience

-Automation experience with AgroCD, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines

Soft Skills:

-Ability to communicate courteously and effectively

-Passion for problem-solving and investigation

-Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure

-Ability to think out of the box

Education/Certifications:

-Experience in lieu of education

-No Certificates

Interview Process:

1st Round - 2-3 person panel with HM - 30 minutes, more behavioral

2nd Round - 2-3 person panel - senior engineers, technical, 1 HR
