Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and customer-focused CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE Administrator in Greer, SC. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineering professional with both CAD/PLM administration capability and practical design/drafting experience.

The ideal candidate is multidisciplinary, able to support system configuration, CAD standards, data integrity, workflow governance, and cross-functional engineering needs.

Job Duties:
* 3DEXPERIENCE / CATIA System Administration
* - Perform CAD system configuration, environment setup, and ongoing system maintenance.
* - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide frontline user support for CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE.
* - Manage user access, licensing, roles, and workspace permissions.
* - Support PLM activities such as data lifecycle management, engineering change processes, and metadata accuracy.
* CAD Libraries, Standards & Templates
* - Maintain and govern CAD libraries, part templates, material libraries, title blocks, and drafting templates.
* - Develop, update, and enforce modeling standards, drafting standards, and configuration rules.
* - Ensure models and drawings meet internal and customer standards.
* Standards, Processes & Documentation
* - Develop, refine, and maintain engineering standards including Design Standards, Drafting Standards, Modeling Guidelines, and PLM workflows.
* - Document engineering processes related to modeling methods, drawing release steps, BOM structuring, and model maturity expectations.
* - Ensure documentation and engineering outputs align with Manufacturing Final Assembly requirements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
* - Provide day-to-day support for cross-functional engineering activities, including manufacturing, supply chain, testing, and configuration management.
* - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with CAD/PLM standards and delivery of high-quality design data.
* - Act as a customer-facing representative ensuring clear communication, responsive support, and continuous improvement.
* Customer Interaction
* - Act as an onsite representative supporting Proterra's engineering teams.
* - Engage directly with customer stakeholders to understand needs and identify areas for improvement.
* - Provide clear communication, responsive support, and a professional presence.
* Design & Drafting Support
* - Provide hands-on guidance to engineers on modeling methods, drafting practices, and CATIA best practices.
* - Review models and drawings for manufacturability, standards compliance, and downstream readiness.
* - Mentor junior users and promote consistent modeling practices.

Required:
* - 5-12 years of experience with CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE (administration and design/drafting usage).
* - Strong background in CAD system configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
* - Experience governing CAD standards, libraries, templates, and modeling practices.
* - Knowledge of PLM data integrity, file structuring, and configuration management.
* - Experience with engineering release workflows and revision control.
* - Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
* - Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with the customer onsite.
* - Self-driven and adaptable with the ability to support multiple functional areas.

Preferred:
* - Experience within EV, battery systems, or transportation industries.
* - Familiarity with ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE role-based permissions and PLM workflows.
* - Knowledge of GD&T, ASME drafting standards, or model-based definition (MBD).
* - Exposure to supplier management or configuration management practices.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $110,000 to $135,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
