Title: Senior CyberArk/Idira Engineer

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid–3 days/week)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior CyberArk/Idira Engineer with hands-on experience in onboarding applications and accounts into CyberArk solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), IGA and proven experience managing service accounts in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, upgrade, and maintain CyberArk solutions and components (PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, CP/CCP) across the enterprise.
• Onboard applications, servers, databases, and privileged accounts into the CyberArk Vault.
• Configure and manage Privileged Session Manager (PSM/PSMP) for secure session monitoring and recording, and administer Central Policy Manager (CPM) for automated password rotations and policy enforcement.
• Implement and support Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) strategies, Secure Infrastructure Access (SIA), and ensure appropriate security access and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Manage and secure service accounts, including password rotations, dependency mapping, and access controls.
• Develop and maintain onboarding workflows, automation scripts, and custom connection components or plug-ins.
• Provide support and troubleshoot CyberArk platform issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure, DevOps, and security stakeholders to discover, document requirements, and ensure smooth integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. 

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of strong experience in CyberArk/Idira for unified privilege controls, secrets management, and governance.
• Hands-on experience onboarding applications and privileged accounts into CyberArk.
• Practical experience in platform implementation and support across PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, and CP/CCP modules.
• Experience designing and developing custom connection components, plug-ins, or integration modules for CyberArk.
• Good understanding of IAM principles and authentication mechanisms such as LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and MFA.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix systems, and network security concepts.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for automation, infrastructure deployment, and security patching.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail regarding security best practices and technical documentation.
