Software Asset Management Expert - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Asset Management Expert with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a contract opportunity and 100% remote.

Pay range: $45.00 - 60.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.

Summary:
We are seeking a Software Asset Management expert with significant experience reconciling top-tier publishers within the ServiceNow SAM Pro module. This individual must be comfortable working with legal and financial data, such as contracts, POs, and invoices, to create software entitlement records within ServiceNow. The ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders while working on large projects with high organizational impact and visibility is required.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Software Asset Management
• Deconstruct software licensing contracts into actionable license reconciliation rules
• Analyze large data sets related to software installations, computer/server configurations, and license reconciliation
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to support the Software Asset Management function
• Develop and maintain complex operational processes with supporting documentation
• Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams
• Solve complex technical issues and enable/teach peers to be self-sufficient
• Establish and maintain best practices for software asset management
• Break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable ones

Requirements:

• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Pro module
• Proven experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Familiarity with top tier software licensing terms and conditions
• Fundamental Hardware Asset Management experience
• Fundamental Configuration Management experience
• Self-organized with the ability to work on large projects with high organizational impact

Desired skills:

• Experience with Complex Data Analysis
• ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management) and Discovery experience
• Strong Communication Skills
• ITIL foundations a plus
• Familiarity with industry regulations a plus
