Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities CCB Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for utility applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CCB), including EDI testing, along with proven expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.

This role requires strong Utility Operations domain knowledge and leadership capabilities to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful test cycle execution.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Utilities CCB Experience (Mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities CCB implementations/upgrades

• Strong experience in CCB testing projects

• Experience with CCB EDI testing

Test Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases

• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, and UAT testing

• Validate APIs, services, and integrations using manual and automated testing

• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders

Defect Management & QA

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools

• Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging

• Ensure compliance with QA best practices and industry standards

• Provide regular test progress reports and quality metrics

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the QA/testing team

• Coordinate with internal teams, offshore teams, and third-party vendors

• Participate in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing sign-offs

• Ensure alignment with business expectations and compliance standards

Required Skills

• 8 10 years of QA/Testing experience

• Strong expertise in Oracle Utilities CCB testing

• Experience in Utility domain (mandatory)

• Test planning, execution, and defect management expertise

• Experience with JIRA / HP ALM

• Exposure to Test Automation tools (Tosca preferred)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
