What You will Do:
The Lead Engineer MBE Technology is responsible for execution and complete delivery on projects that advance data continuity and collaboration during product development and manufacture. Role requires a highly collaborative individual with initiative to develop new ideas and implement change.
  • The role will involve the management of challenges across multiple functional areas of expertise to create digital traceability in the customer processes.
  • Collaborate with cross function teams leveraging experience and technical competency to meet Model Based Engineering objectives
  • Define and deliver solutions to improve the manufacturing engineering way of working including standard processes, tools and data management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure MBE data is accurate, complete, and traceable
  • Collaborate closely with end-users to deeply understand their pain points, needs, and the functional requirements of their workflows are met
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure processes and tools meet end-user need
What You will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM from accredited university or college
  • Mechanical/production/industrial engineering with 7+ yrs of experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex part drawings/assemblies & BOM structure
  • Knowledge in PMI creation/MBE implementation in shop floor environment
  • Capable of understanding existing manufacturing, assembly & quality processes
  • Collection of BOP, BOE details, creation of technical documentation/SOP/MI
  • Ability to suggest new/alternate process for improvement
  • Knowledge in industrial engineering and time study for each process
  • Knowledge in safety procedures & international standards EN, ISO etc
  • Ability to recommend alternate tooling in assembly, inspection, testing & material handling
  • Ability to collaborate with site, understand, collect & update plant compliances in documentation
  • High level knowledge in fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical parts/wire harness
  • NX, Teamcenter and Easy plan experience
  • Good communication skills Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline or Project Management or equivalent
Desired Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Heavy equipment or transportation equipment design and/or manufacturing experience.
