Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer (.Net) W2
Client: Florida department of transportation
Location: Tallahassee, FL (hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Position Overview
As part of the Department's initiative to modernize and re-engineer its core financial systems, over 1,500 computing assets have been identified as impacted by the client's accounting system transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing financial systems and application assets to determine remediation or modernization strategies
- Design and document end-state technical solutions, including application and reporting mockups
- Lead development, code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities
- Develop and modernize enterprise-grade applications supporting OWPB stakeholders
- Triage and resolve application maintenance and enhancement requests
- Reengineer business processes and integrate solutions with Financial Management (FM) systems
- Ensure compatibility with Florida PALM interface standards and data requirements
- Collaborate with OWPB, Office of Information Technology (OIT), and Office of the Comptroller (OOC)
- Drive modernization initiatives including UI/UX improvements, iterative development, and code optimization
- Lead .NET-based platform initiatives aligned with Department strategy
- Support reporting and analytics through effective data modeling and integration
- Mentor developers and serve as a technical advisor across teams
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis
Required Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience as a Lead Full-Stack Developer
- Advanced expertise in designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications
- Strong systems integration experience across multiple platforms
Required Technical Expertise
- Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core (C#, VB.NET)
- ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms), Web API, WCF
- RESTful services, JSON, XML
- Front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Knockout, or similar)
- HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
- Azure SQL Server and relational database design
- Entity Framework or other ORM technologies
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development
