Senior Accountant with Pharma or Biotech experience must

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team s mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities and Duties  Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.  Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors.  Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions.   Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.  Ad-hoc accounting related projects.Qualifications  Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance; master s in accounting/CPA preferred  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities   Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills  Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Minimum 5-7 years  experience in accounting roles  Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.
