You'll get to:
support the administration of messaging and archiving platforms, including configuration, updates, and performance monitoring
generate reports to validate data integrity and policy adherence
maintain documentation for system architecture, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Your team
You'll be working in the Group Technology Office located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We're responsible for sourcing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our world-class technology solutions. We're a global organization with multiple streams that align with each of the key functional areas within UBS to ensure that our solutions meet business needs. You will be placed as a Messaging Support intern. This role is essential to ensuring the integrity, availability, and compliance of electronic communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in messaging systems, troubleshooting, and understanding how communication data is stored and governed.
Your expertise
We're looking for a candidate who:
is graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 and has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
is familiar with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments
is experienced with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) to automate administrative tasks
is proficient in cloud-based messaging platforms or archiving tools
preferably has knowledge of storage systems, backup solutions, and data lifecycle management
has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills

Your program
During your 10-week paid internship, between June 1 and August 7, you'll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You'll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
