Principal Product & Technology Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Product & Technology Lead to partner with business and technology leaders in driving strategy, delivery, and adoption of enterprise analytics, AI, and digital platforms. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while leading cross-functional teams, managing complex technology initiatives, and ensuring delivery of measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines product leadership, technical depth, strategic thinking, and execution excellence to successfully lead initiatives spanning data, analytics, AI/GenAI, and enterprise application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Define product vision, roadmap, and prioritization across a portfolio of analytics, data, AI, and digital solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain product backlogs, release plans, success metrics, and adoption strategies.
• Drive value realization through measurable business outcomes and ROI tracking.

Technology Leadership

• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, integration, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Guide solution design reviews and technical decision-making.
• Promote engineering best practices, automation, DevOps, and AI-assisted development approaches.

AI & Innovation

• Identify, evaluate, and drive AI/GenAI use cases from concept through implementation.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define AI product strategy and business value.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies including Generative AI, AI Agents, and automation capabilities.
• Ensure alignment with Responsible AI and governance requirements.

Program & Delivery Leadership

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, roadmap reviews, governance forums, and executive updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Data, Quality, Operations, and Business partners.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership.
• Drive alignment across internal teams and external vendor partners.
• Lead executive presentations, strategic planning discussions, and steering committee reviews.
• Establish accountability and ensure successful delivery against commitments.

Governance & Compliance

• Support architecture reviews, security assessments, and technology governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, privacy, security, and enterprise standards.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Technology Delivery, Solution Architecture, Engineering Leadership, or Technology Consulting.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale digital, analytics, data, or AI product initiatives.
• Experience managing global cross-functional teams and large-scale technology programs.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

Technical Requirements:

Product & Delivery

• Expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, backlog management, and release planning.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern product development methodologies.
• Experience managing complex technology portfolios and delivery roadmaps.

Software Engineering & Architecture

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with enterprise application architecture and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with frontend, backend, and cloud-native application development.

Cloud & Platform Technologies

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud migration, platform modernization, and scalable architecture design.

Data & Analytics

Strong understanding of:

• SQL
• Data Warehousing
• Data Modeling
• ETL/ELT Pipelines
• Enterprise Data Platforms
• Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools including Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or ThoughtSpot.
• Experience delivering large-scale analytics or data-driven products.

Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI

• Experience leading or supporting AI and Generative AI initiatives.

• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI adoption.

• GxP and Regulated Environments (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Clinical Development, Healthcare, or Medical Technology industries.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics and AI platforms.
• Experience managing global delivery teams and third-party vendors.
• Experience building business cases, ROI analyses, and value realization frameworks.
• Background in management consulting, technology strategy, or digital transformation.
