Job Description – .Net Integration Engineer

Location: Dallas TX onsite 5 days

What You Will Do

Requirements Gathering

Engage directly with business, operations, and compliance stakeholders to map current outbound communication workflows end-to-end
Identify where automated validation and control steps can be inserted without disrupting operational throughput
Translate business and compliance requirements into clear technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and integration design documents
Facilitate working sessions and document decisions, edge cases, and acceptance criteria in a format both technical and non-technical audiences can act on
Integration & Validation Build
Design and build deterministic validation services — rule-based checks that confirm recipient identity, contact details, and permitted channels before any communication is transmitted
Integrate these validation services as middleware or workflow steps into existing systems, using APIs, microservices, or lightweight agents as appropriate
Build interfaces to internal data sources (member directories, approved contact lists, domain registries) and external lookup services to power the validation logic
Implement exception handling, alerting, and review/approval paths for flagged transmissions
Work with the security team to wire validation pipelines into existing DLP/data inspection tooling for content-level checks
Write clean, testable code and maintain documentation for everything you build

Skills & Experience

Must-Have

10+ years of application development experience, with a strong back-end and integration engineering background
Proficiency in C# / .NET equivalent enterprise back-end stack; ability to build and maintain production-grade services
Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and microservices
Hands-on experience integrating with third-party platforms and enterprise systems — whether SaaS APIs, on-prem data sources
SQL proficiency (SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent) for building data lookup and validation logic against directory/reference data
Proven ability to lead or contribute to requirement-gathering and solution design — not just receive a spec and code, but actively shape it
Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments where data accuracy and auditability matter
Comfortable working across the full SDLC in an Agile/Scrum delivery model

Good to Have

Experience integrating with email infrastructure (SMTP gateways, Exchange/O365 connectors, or server-side mail agents) or platforms like Twilio
Exposure to HIPAA or similar data privacy frameworks and what they mean for outbound communication handling
Front-end experience (Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript) for building lightweight workflow dashboards or review UIs
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments
Experience with AI-assisted validation or intelligent data matching tools
