Position: Technical Manager / Sr. Technical Lead

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager / Sr. Technical Lead with expertise in architecture and interior design technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing company standards, supervising the technical design team, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. This role involves managing and guiding project leads, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining effective coordination with the Head Office and other teams.

Responsibilities:

Implement company standards for the Technical Design Department and supervise the team in preparing schematic design, detailed design, and construction drawings for various projects including villas, high-rise residential and commercial buildings, and amenity buildings.
Ensure smooth functioning of the team and adherence to technical procedures, documentation, and BIM standards as directed by the HOD.
Manage and guide project leads and BIM architects/engineers in preparing SD, DD, and IFC drawings based on concept design, ensuring all construction details are coordinated with the HOD.
Assign projects to BIM architects/engineers and monitor the preparation of working drawings with sufficient construction details for Head Office approval.
Support and guide staff on all aspects of drawing preparation in BIM, maintaining high-quality standards for assigned projects.
Ensure proper server filing and correspondence with the Head Office, and manage technical server/BIM 360 filing and configuration for assigned projects.
Monitor the preparation of project-specific schedules (e.g., doors, wardrobe, kitchen, vanity) and ensure correct formats are followed.
Provide input on cost-effective and efficient construction methodologies, preparing sketches for IFC drawings in coordination with the HO team and ID HOD.
Manage and guide the preparation of technical drawings for interior design with proper MEP, faade, and structural coordination along with the Head Office team.
Train and mentor the team on ID materials, construction methodologies, and interior detailing using BIM technology, ensuring technical knowledge in interior fit-out and trade coordination.
Review and approve drawings before issuing them to the Head Office team, ensuring correctness and quality of IFC drawings.
Conduct regular meetings and discussions with Head Office team leads or managers to resolve design and detail issues.
Evaluate staff productivity and performance on a quarterly basis, ensuring proper feedback and development.
Prepare reports as required by the HOD.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B. Arch) and Master's degree in Architecture (M. Arch).
Proficiency in software such as Revit/BIM, CAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
10+ to 15 years of relevant experience in architecture and interior design.
