Position DescriptionThis position will focus on all operational activities that occur with several major National Retail customers.
Responsibilities:
- Weekly Demand Forecasting and updating in systems
- Sales Trend Reporting
- Ensure orders are shipped promptly to meet the customer's requested delivery date
- Conduct Root Cause analysis
- Managing and resolving matters related to Orders, shipping, and delivery
- Process Improvement, Sell-Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis
- KPI (Baseline Improvement)
- Use of supply chain system for order management and reporting
- Demand Forecasting, Customer process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.
- Activities have a direct impact on both sales revenue and profitability within the assigned account. This position will also maintain strong relationships with customers as well as with internal departments like Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Order Management, and Logistics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 3~10 years of related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
- Forecasting / Demand Planning with retail experience preferred
- Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships
- Proficiency with Advanced Excel data functions including advanced formulas
- Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Preferred but not required: SAP/BW/BI Experience also a plus
Very detail-oriented, strong follow-up and organizing abilities.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Knowledge of extensive macro programming is a big plus).
