Title: Salesforce Developer
Client: DFW Airport.
Location: Euless, TX 75261 (On-Site).
Duration: 3+ Months Contract to Hire (3+ months as contractor then transition to Full-Time board employee of Client Pay Role).
While on Contract Client will be paying (Plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Integrations, Data Management, Security, Testing, and Deployment.
Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the development, enhancement, integration, and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce applications and solutions. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, administrators, architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.
- Hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, triggers, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce declarative development, including Flows and platform configuration.
- Experience developing and supporting REST and/or SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing architecture, and governor limits.
- Experience with Salesforce development, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Experience working with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Application Architect or related certification
· Experience supporting Salesforce in a large enterprise environment.
· Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
· Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as Appian.
· Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or similar deployment tools.
· Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems and external data sources.
· Experience in an airport, aviation, transportation, government, or other complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform.
· Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, triggers, classes, and Salesforce APIs.
· Configure and enhance Salesforce using declarative capabilities including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, fields, and automation.
· Work with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
· Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and integration/middleware technologies.
· Support Salesforce data migration, data quality, and data integration activities.
· Configure and maintain Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and field-level security.
· Develop unit tests and support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
· Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, integration issues, and production problems.
· Participate in code reviews and follow Salesforce development, security, and performance best practices.
· Support CI/CD and Salesforce deployment/release processes across development, test, and production environments.
· Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, integrations, configurations, and deployment procedures.
· Collaborate effectively with DFW business users and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
