We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commerical Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle, from planning and design to construction and handover. This role is ideal for a construction professional who is experienced in managing subcontractors, developing and managing schedules, RFI submittals, OSHA safety standards, adherence to project specifications, and managing civil sitework. Proficiency in using PROCORE, viewpoint software, and experience in projects and renovations in hospitals, churches, retail, and education is highly desirable.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the work are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage all construction activities.
2. Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety rules, and regulations in line with OSHA standards.
3. Manage civil site work and coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Utilize PROCORE and Viewpoint software for project management and reporting.
5. Lead projects and renovations in various sectors including hospitals, churches, retail, and education.
6. Carry out construction management duties, including planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions.
7. Manage subcontractors effectively to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
8. Perform construction estimating and scheduling, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that will allow you to perform the job effectively.

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a superintendent role.
2. Proven experience with RFI submittals, OSHA safety standards, and adherence to project specifications.
3. Solid experience in managing civil site work.
4. Proficiency in PROCORE and Viewpoint software.
5. Experience in managing projects and renovations in various sectors such as hospitals, churches, retail, and education.
6. Strong knowledge of construction management, subcontractor management, construction estimating, and scheduling.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
