Information Security Specialist - Senior

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to lead enterprise remediation efforts involving SSH keys, certificates, trust stores, and machine identities across a complex technology environment. This position is heavily focused on coordinating and driving remediation initiatives, partnering with infrastructure, application, cloud, platform, and security teams to reduce cryptographic risk and improve compliance with enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate remediation efforts involving SSH keys, certificates, trust stores, and related cryptographic assets.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams to identify and resolve certificate and machine identity risks.
• Drive accountability and follow-through for remediation activities across multiple technical teams.
• Track remediation progress, dependencies, risks, and exceptions through completion.
• Support enterprise initiatives related to certificate lifecycle management, SSH governance, root CA migrations, and cryptographic modernization.
• Validate successful deployment of certificate and SSH key changes across production and non-production environments.
• Create operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting related to remediation status and risk reduction.
• Support onboarding and adoption of enterprise certificate management solutions and automation capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or Cybersecurity Operations
• Experience coordinating and leading remediation efforts involving certificates, SSH keys, or cryptographic technologies
• Strong understanding of SSH keys and supporting infrastructure
• Experience supporting SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, trust stores, or certificate lifecycle management.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge across enterprise environments.
• Experience working with Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent remediation efforts and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security industry certifications.
• Experience with PKI environments and enterprise certificate management platforms.
• Experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and operational support.
• Proven success influencing technical teams and driving outcomes without direct authority.
