DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

·         Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

·         Confers with project staff to outline a work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

·         Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

·         Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.

·         Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

·         Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.

·         Holds customer meetings and manages customer communications.

·         Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

·         Understand and document customer/project requirements.

·         Define and document product/engineering specifications and other project deliverables.

·         Develop and optimize designs or processes for implants and catheter-based systems.

Qualifications/Experience; Minimum Requirements:

·         4 yr. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related science field.

·         Project Manager certification a plus.

·         3+ years’ experience in a new product development environment, manufacturing environment

·         Strong leadership experience

·         Proficiency with required Computer Aided Design and Engineering tools.

·         Creo and Autocad are preferred

·         Proficiency with typical office software, word processors, spreadsheet, databases, etc.
