Summary

About the role

We're looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Functional Consultant to join a finance transformation team on a 12-month remote contract. You'll own the design, configuration and support of SAP Finance and Controlling, working directly with finance stakeholders and technical teams to keep month-end running smoothly and deliver enhancements that make a real difference to the business.

This role is 100% remote within the United States.

What you'll do

  • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
  • Lead requirements workshops with finance users and translate business needs into functional designs.
  • Write functional specifications for RICEFW objects and partner with ABAP developers through build, testing and deployment.
  • Resolve production support tickets and incidents within SLA, and drive root-cause fixes.
  • Support period-end and year-end close activities.
  • Plan and execute unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with MM, SD and PS teams on cross-module integration.
  • Maintain clear configuration documentation and train end users.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
  • At least one full-cycle S/4HANA Finance implementation or ECC-to-S/4HANA conversion.
  • Strong knowledge of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting and Business Partner.
  • Proven experience writing functional specs for RICEFW objects.
  • Experience supporting production environments and working a ticket queue.
  • Clear communication with both finance users and technical teams.

Nice to have

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
  • Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting or SAP Fiori apps for finance.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

  • Work setting: 100% remote (U.S.)
  • Type: W2 contract, 12 months, with possible extension
  • Pay: $80 to $100 per hour, depending on experience
  • Work authorization: U.S. Citizen, or EAD. We are unable to sponsor visas for this role.
