Job Title: - Senior Project Manager

Location: - Houston, TX (100% On-Site)

Job Type: - Long Term Contract

Interview - 30-minute phone screen and 1 hour on-site, panel of PMO, IT management and possibly business (if applicable)

Must be within 50 Miles – No relocation

Responsibilities:

·        Project Background: Client is launching a cloud transformation initiative focused on delivering quick wins and foundational capabilities.

·        Early efforts target data and analytics, productivity tools, and security governance, with cross-functional coordination across Big Data, Infrastructure & Operations, Security & Compliance, Applications, Client Services, and Business Solutions.

·        The Project Manager will support the Big Data department in implementing AWS and other related cloud applications.

·        They must effectively coordinate with the other parallel efforts as we build a cloud-based data ecosystem.

Required Skills and Experience:

·        Cloud Technology

·        Demonstrable experience in leading project(s) that migrate on-premise data-oriented workloads to a net new cloud data fabric environment.

·        Familiarity with AWS and moving large companies to the cloud.

·        Understanding AWS cloud data, DevOps, FinOps and MLOps

·        Data and Analytics

·        Knowledge of managed databases, SaaS data tools (i.e., Snowflake), custom applications and vendor applications

·        Experience with data replication, streaming, and analytics pipelines

·        Familiarity with time-series data and both structured and unstructured data formats

·        Understanding of the Self-Service analytics model

·        Project Execution & Agile Methodologies

·        Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices

·        Experience managing cloud migration and implementation roadmaps

·        Ability to align cloud capabilities with operational, compliance, and financial goals

·        Awareness of cloud security protocols and risk mitigation strategies

·        Preferred Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, AWS Certificates
